. . . . More than 150 parishioners (including 20 former parishioners) completed the survey and 67 parishioners (including 9 former parishioners) engaged in small group discussions. We have a lot of data to assimilate. There is no question, however, that you are passionate about Calvary and its future.

Early Sept update: Small group discussion topics

Based on the feedback we received in the survey from parishioners, former parishioners and other members of the community, there were six topics viewed as vital elements of Calvary’s ministry that we want to dive deeper into and discuss in small groups. The goal of these sessions will be to share thoughts (brainstorming) on how we can improve these areas to engage, energize and enlighten our parish and strengthen the community at large. 

These six topics will become important pillars in a more vibrant vision that will create opportunities for spiritual growth.

Mid-August update

Just a quick update on the Our Church 2030 initiative. We are busily analyzing the survey results. Once again, the time and energy that was put in to give the responses was truly amazing. We will have a lot of data to share with you.

The summer vacation season has taken a hold of our schedule for the small group discussions. While we originally thought we would start the small group discussions in August, we now plan to hold the sessions in September and October.

The all-parish Survey has been distributed and you have responded by providing valuable feedback on your views of religion, spirituality, and Calvary now and what you would like it to be in the future. We had over 150 completed surveys, which represented approximately a 40% response rate. Outstanding!

We have received approximately 100 responses to the survey for the Our Church 2030  initiative. Thank you all so very much to those that have participated thus far. The responses have been very thoughtful and diligent. Your responses will provide valuable information to help us all define the future vision of Calvary.
