The pastoral care team reaches out to our parishioners who are house bound, in the hospital, in an assisted living facility or are just not able to be present at worship. From these visits the volunteers see what additional ministries are needed and appropriate.

Please contact our church office or Barbara Loftus to arrange a visit.

Other Ministries currently under Pastoral Prayer and Care include:

Communication (calls, notes and cards)
co-led by Joan Mills & Patty Copp

Hand written cards offering prayers and comforting words for many occasions including Easter and Christmas; to those who are ill, grieving, celebrating baptisms, graduations, special birthdays and any other need that comes our way. We pray to a merciful God.

Eucharistic Visitors
coordinator, Susan Ayers

Visitors give the Holy Sacrament to parishioners in their homes, in nursing homes, and in retirement communities. Compassionate reaching out to our parishioners who are not able to be present at Calvary completes the Service. Offered on the first and third Sundays of the month.

Prayers Shawl Makers
co-led by Stevie Champion & Kitsie Cooke

Volunteers knit or crochet standard-sized prayers shawls, mini (pocket) prayer shawls, and lap robes for people of all ages with special needs both within and outside our congregation. Knitters meet in the Sacristy at 12:30 on the fourth Friday of most months.
